The Frauenholtz-Miller Park Neighborhood Open House was held at the St. Patrick Church on October 7th. Design concept - C (which was the option selected by neighborhood stakeholders attending Workshop II) was refined as requested and presented at the Open House.
A majority of the 26 neighborhood stakeholders in attendance expressed appreciation for being included in the design process, and supported the plan. Attendees written suggestions and comments were collected and provided to the Park Department.
The Park Department will continue work to finalize the plan, and City funding for park construction is currently budgeted for 2012. |
