SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER
Growing Eastern Iowa consulting engineering firm is seeking Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager licensed in the State of Iowa, for their Coralville, Iowa office. This engineer must be capable of working with a wide variety of clients within diverse sectors of business including construction, industrial, commercial, government, institutional and residential.
In addition to management of projects and client communication, this individual will be responsible for business development, overseeing the preparation of engineering documents and directing a staff of design engineers, technicians, draftsmen, surveyors, inspectors, etc. Desired Qualifications:
(1) Minimum of six (6) to eight (8) years of Civil Engineering Design and Project Management Experience.
(2) Familiar and knowledgeable with AutoCadd and Civil 3D design software.
(3) Knowledge and expertise with broad spectrum of civil engineering design projects including grading, demolition, stormwater drainage and management, sanitary sewerage, water distribution, railroad improvements, roadways, trails, parking facilities, municipal engineering projects, rezoning, subdivisions, transmission lines, traffic improvements.
(4) Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, review agencies, contractors and the public.
(5) Desire and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary design team environment while managing projects through the planning, design and construction phases.
(6) General knowledge of land surveying and platting requirements as related to civil engineering projects and requirements for design and construction surveys.
