Project Description:
Located adjacent to the City of Coralville Water Treatment Plant, the 750,000 gallon elevated storage tank provides finished water storage to meet demand fluctuations and to provide water capacity for fire protection. This elevated tank eliminated short cycling of well and booster pumps, lowering maintenance costs and extending the life of equipment.

The City of Coralville logo was placed on three sides of the tank to provide a landmark to motorists on Interstate 80 and within the City of Coralville. The elevated tank is visible throughout most of the City.

Construction of this improvement was completed on time and within the planned budget.
