Project Description:  A system of educational stone kiosks, overlooks or 'discovery points', and accessible walkways was created to preserve and interpret the recently discovered geological phenomenon near the Coralville Dam. Shoemaker & Haaland provided the following design services on this Corps. of Engineers project.

Design Features:
*  Structural design for support of central water table and polished
    stone.
*  Design assistance and recommendations for all site elements.
*  Generated CAD drawings for wave pattern on stone exhibit wall.
