Twin Rivers Drive - US Highway 61 Industrial Bypass
Keokuk, Iowa
Project Description:

Approximately 5,000 feet of industrial roadway to connect the Keokuk Industrial area to US Highway 61 and 136, including 2 lane curbed street with 565' of 8' diameter concrete pipe and 306' long curved steel girder viaduct over RR.

The Twin Rivers Drive pavement was constructed with 10" thick non-reinforced PCC pavement. The pavement was constructed on a 12" granular sub-base with longitudal subdrains tied to stormwater intakes. The vertical and horizontal alignment of the pavement was designed to withstand heavy truck traffic.
